The key to using Wicked Smart ideas in your business is to think in terms of adapting, rather than adopting. When you read each idea, it’s unlikely that the industry will match your own.
However, if you consider how to adapt the same concept for your own topic, often there’s a way to do that.

Of course, since many of these strategies revolve either around the Internet or specific third-party tools and resources, these elements are subject to change at any time. If the strategy no longer works exactly as described in the book, try to read between the lines to understand the principle behind it.
If a particular tool that’s mentioned is no longer available, often you can find alternatives via a simple Google search.
